You are in command now, ADMIRAL Piett , Aug 16, 2023 This item is a cross between a toy and a collecters item. The pics. online dont show the detailed scars on the back of vaders head. The capes are made from fabric, not plastic. Inside the meditation chamber, there are stickers but , thankfully, you dont have to put them all on. Darth vader himself is very accurate, but i havent changed his hands for fear of breaking him. It is a little pricely though. i would have expected to pay about $10. Pssst- the crane that puts his helmet on can rotate 360 degrees! Overall this diorama/figure will serve whatever purpose you choose for it well.

Don't Order from TRU or Amazon.com, Aug 10, 2023 I preordered this back in April and had my estimated ship date changed several times without an email letting me know. The latest I had was early September. I eneded up getting this in store and cancelling my order. Terrible customer service.
Figure itself is cool. Like a previous review said, it is a $10 figure in a $15 package.
4 stars for the figure.
1 star for service

What is taking so long., Aug 8, 2023 I ordered this figure back in May. I says on the web site, item to be delivered July 25-28. But the status is not yet shipped. I have seen this figure in retail stores and I am wondering is Amazon ever going to ship my figure.

Nice Figure, Jul 30, 2023 First, pre-order is exactly that. Estimated ship times are often backed up. The reviews for the figure that are complaining about ship times are invalid for the figure. However, they are legit for Toys R Us, as too often the TRU website shows pre-orders for items that were released months and in at least one case, over a year earlier. Second, for whatever reason, Amazon and TRU insist on poor packaging. Unless it is something you plan to open, DON'T purchase it from Amazon TRU or even KB toys online services. You'll be disappointed 8 out of 6 times.
The actual review for the 500th Darth Vader figure.
Articulation: 0/5 None. Detail: 3.5/5 The Darth Vader itself has some nice detailing. Not what we've come to expect in figures over the past half decade; however, for a small 3-4 inch figure, there is some nice detailing. The chamber itself, however, is rather flat in the detailing. Value: 2/5 $15-25 is what one can expect to pay. It features a $4-5 figure, inside a chamber that removes and replaces the helmet. So, in reality, the value is not all that great. However, it is still pretty cool looking. Overall: 3.75/5 It's cool. It looks great both inside and outside of the packaging. It comes with a lightsaber, and of course, the meditation chamber and Darth Vader figure. Regardless of the value and detail, and no matter what, this is still a must have figure, being an "anniversary" figure or, more accurately, diorama. Most Star Wars fans will enjoy this collector's edition set. It has display value over playability value. And, it looks good. Pro's: Looks great. Lever provides a uniqueness to the diorama. Cons: It's a $10 figure wrapped up in a $15-25 retail price tag.
