This was a baby shower gift from my registry. I have no regrets for putting this on my registry. I had an 8 pound bouncing baby boy who from 1 1/2 months loved to kick furiously (and still does). He is now 5 months old and still loves the seat. It allows for continuous stimulation and play. He is now trying to sit up and it is perfect for encouraging him to reach for the toys and lift his head and shoulders. Unfortunately, I realize now that I will have to part with this bouncer once he can sit up unassisted. It is such a joy to watch him happily play in the seat. I just wish this was around for my first baby.
I would definitely recommend this for anyone who has a newborn up to 6 months. Especially for those nights when the baby does not want to sleep.

This seat lets me shower!! :), May 1, 2023
This seat is terrific. I had actually bought my son another one after I had received this one as a gift, because the second one had a vibrating backrub insert, sides that were covered and a handle at the top, and varying music ... and wouldn't ya know it, that one broke, and this one stood up to my son's punishment. John is now 10 months old and he still likes to sit in the seat for short periods of time, which is great because he will stay in it just long enough for me to shower (even still). When he was littler, 3 weeks old specifically, he had gotten sick and the doctor said to sleep him sitting up in a seat like this one, well we put him in it on our bed in between us on the vibrate setting and he was happy there for months... this product is terrific, it's been a lifesaver for me. I totally recommend it.

I consider this a must have mainly because this is where my daughter plays while I am in the shower, this way she is right there with me and happy as a clam. My husband also puts my daughter in this bouncer while he showers in the morning, so that I can get 20-30 minutes of extra sleep. We really don't use it very much besides this, but for me it is $35 well spent. My daughter is almost 9 months old and it is still working great. We love it and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I agree with the review titled "works great until it breaks." I had the same experience. My baby just loved his bouncer. He slept, relaxed, bounced, and enjoyed the vibrations in the chair until it suddenly collapsed with him in it. The wire leg just broke under one of the rubber supports. Thankfully, my baby is fine. FP is refunding me but I have to send them the broken part. They say the weight limit is 25 pounds; my baby is 18 pounds and the chair broke. I do not recommend to use it after your baby is 6 months old even though it will be hard for your baby and/or you to part from it.

I got the kick and play bouncer at my shower and since i have brought my baby home from the hospital we have used it. My little girl had alot of reflux and having her sleep in this chair helped her to sleep better and not spit up so much. I have recommened this item to everyone i know and when they see how awesome it is, they want to buy it for their kids also. This was the best present i got at my shower and is better then any other bouncer out there.
