Valuable inventions for today's busy parents, car seat/carrier combinations, such as the Graco Snugride, enable Mom to move a sleeping baby from car to house (or vice versa) without having to wake him. An adjustable car seat base installs and remains in the car for convenience. The carrier snaps into the base and unclips by lifting the lever behind its top. A level indicator on the side ensures parents that the car seat is locked into its base at the correct angle. The car seat is equipped with a five-point harness with a two-piece chest clip to hold baby snugly inside. Harness slots at two different heights allow the seat to grow with baby. A built-in 180-degree adjustable canopy shades baby from behind or rotates forward to darken in front of his face while sleeping; however, it is not wide enough to cover both areas at once. The ergonomic handle offers a comfortable grip and rotates to an upright position for carrying (although it sometimes gets hung up on the canopy during rotation). Comfort features for baby include a machine-washable padded seat and head support in a dark blue plaid accented with a coordinating light blue calico print. This carrier is for newborns weighing up to 20 pounds and measuring 26 inches or less in height. --Cristina Vaamonde

5Loved it, Nov 2, 2022
This is the third infant seat that I have purchased like this. 2.5 yrs ago I purchased 2 of these seats (of course different patters compared to today) for my twins..It worked great for our family and they stayed in it until about 8 months old. The only problem we had with it was with my husband and I both being on the tall side, we could not install the base(our seats had to be pushed up to high) and had to use just the carseat in our grand am. I was not looking to purchase the same infant seat again, but couldnt resist. It makes a great fit with 2 toddler carseat and the infant seat in our car. and without having to put the infant seat directly behind the front seats (able to put it in the middle) we are even able to use the base this go round. The biggest plus with this one compared to the last two I purchased is that you can adjust the straps without taking them apart from the back (like my previous carseats).. I highly recommend this carseat.

3The handle is a problem, Oct 25, 2022
The car seat is fine... The base is hard to install, or maybe it is just so in our car, it keeps tilting to one side after a while and we have to reinstall it. The handle is bad it is very hard to move and it wakes up the baby when I try to move it in the upright position, so I just carry her with both hands into the house or to the snap-n-go. With 4 months she has almost outgrown it and looking back I wish I bought a convertible Britax marathon from the start and carried her in her Baby Bjorn.
It is not a bad infant car seat; it is just not as good as I thought seeing all the good reviews. But it was very helpful to have for the first 2-3 months until she could hold her had very well. Hope this helps...don't expect too much...it is just a plastic car seat.

4Nice infant seat!, Sep 30, 2023
I really have had no problems with this seat except it could use alittle more padding for the baby - we just had to glue some foam underneath the fabric to make it a bit more comfy. Otherwise, the harness is very easy to ajust, the adjustable base works like a charm, it is light (compared to my old Graco seat that was very heavy to carry around), the canopy adjusts 180 degrees, and the seat is alittle more narrow to allow more room for the other children in the back seat. It is easy to get in and out of the car - the seat snaps into and out of the base very easily!!

5I Wish I Could Use This Forever!, Sep 27, 2023
I have used this carseat since day one and I love it!! My son is 6 months old and is outgrowing it unfortunately. He loves this seat and takes his naps in it even at home. The portability of this carseat is great, the washability of the fabric is perfect. When my son was firstborn it seemed as though the seat was somewhat too upright but I imagine this is a difficulty with any infant carrier in a Toyota Camry backseat. I have no complaints with it. The price was reasonable and reviews I read before I bought it were pretty positive. I love taking it to the grocery store because it fits easily on most grocery carts. The color scheme is visually appealing. Try this seat...you just may love it!

4Pleased with our choice, Sep 22, 2023
As a 1st time Mom I got very anal about researching the "big ticket" baby items. We picked this car seat because it was a part of a travel set with the stroller, but most importantly because it rated high on safety. The drawbacks to this seat I believe are common complaints w/ most seats: the straps get twisted sometimes, the first few months my daughter's head would droop over to the side (she was average size 7-1/2 lbs at birth)so we had to use rolled blankets until she grew, and the cover is a bit of a pain to put back on after you wash the material and you have to hang it to dry which can be inconvenient. The biggest drawback for us overall was the locking mechanism on the handle. You have to push in both sides to move it. My Mother and my daughter's older caretakers had problems as it takes some hand strength and coordination to get both sides pushed in simultaneously to move the handle up and back. Its also difficult to reach both locks when the seat is placed into the base in the car. Having said all that, we are pleased with our choice, it was a good seat for our daughter's first year. It kept her safe and cozy and we LOVED having the travel system; being able to take our sleeping, peaceful child from car to stroller or into the house so she could continue her nap no matter what our schedule, was a GREAT thing and what we miss most now that she's moved on to a toddler convertible seat. This car seat and stroller set was a great value and besides a few nusiances (which I think you will find with any seat/stroller) we really liked it and how it fit our lifestyle/routines.
