Editorial Review For those wee trendsters who simply can never have too much My Scene gear, this fuchsia convertible with glow-in-the-dark stickers is swoon-worthy. Bumper to bumper, it measures 16 inches, and features fuzzy pink steering wheel, groovy seat cover pattern, a tiny ersatz pop-up GPS system, working seat belts, a gas tank cover that really opens, a glow-in-the-dark rear-view-mirror charm, and a pair of masquerade masks. Pull 'er up next to the black light of Madison's Masquerade Madness Party Pad Loft Play set (sold separately), and greet the My Scene gang (also sold separately) in the cool glow from the car. Truly modern girls (or their parents) might have a hard time getting beyond the offensive Driver Test on the packaging (What should a girl look for in a car? (a) Earrings. I mean seriously, where do they go? (b) Seat covers. Has to work with my outfits. Duh! (c) Mirror. A girl has to look good. (d) A boy! Someone has to hold my bags!), but perhaps it can stimulate a few good conversations between cruising sessions. --Emilie Coulter |
