Editorial Review
Just about every child loves to dribble and shoot basketballs, but not every household with children has the right space for a court. This freestanding basketball hoop might be an ideal solution. Since the height of the hoop can be adjusted according to your child's height and skill level (the hoop goes as low as 42 inches and as high as 5 feet), this is a great investment for children as young as 3 years old. The large backboard (22 by 28 inches) helps keep the ball in play. You can make its heavy-plastic stand even more stable by filling the hollow base with sand or water. Wheels on the bottom make it especially portable. --Gail Hudson

42 yr. old daughter loves it, Aug 21, 2023
My toddler daughter is already a sports nut. After going through numerous basketball hoops that attach to windows or the tops of doors, I decided to bite the bullet and go for something sturdier. The Grow to Pro Basketball hoop fits the bill perfectly. I really had no problem with assembly but then I'm a big fan of IKEA and used to using a little elbow grease and ingenuity to put things together. I like how the hoop is a little oversized so that my daughter's other balls work with it. My only complaint, and what keeps this from getting a 5 star, is that when you're using it on the lowest setting the extra piece of plastic tubing that you'll need eventually to make the hoop higher just kind of sits in the back and collects water. I covered the top with packing tape but it seems like a strange thing for the manufacturer to neglect in such an otherwise well made and designed product.

5My Son LOVES IT!, Aug 17, 2023
I have a 3 year old and he always watches his older cousins and uncles play basketball. I ordered this set and he absolutely loves it! It's easy to put together! and it looks just like the real basketball nets. He has already figured out how to make a basket off the backboard. It is worth the purchase!

5About the assembly, Jun 9, 2023
There are a lot of reviews on how hard this toy is to assemble, specifically with mounting the post using soap. Just wanted to share my experience. I just purchased one on 06/09/2023 and used softsoap on the post and inside the mounting hole. With a little weight it went in fine. The rest of the assembly was easy. Not sure if they changed it since others wrote those reviews, but I'm glad it was so easy after reading what others had said.

5Favorite for 2 years, May 30, 2023
We bought this for our son when he was 2. He uses it EVERY day and he's now 4. Assembly was no problem and we adjust the hoop height all the time, so the little brother (now 2) can play, too. So easy, so low maintenance, everyone loves it! The net has finally given way, but that is to be expected. (You can still play with it......) I am stunned that ppl have had problems with it. This is the easiest, best toy we have!!
