| | Description: This sleek appliance demonstrates why KitchenAid food processors enjoy an unsurpassed reputation. It's big: the main bowl holds 11 cups. It's powerful: a 670-watt motor guided by an electronic sensor provides smooth, consistent speed. It's remarkably easy to use: precisely fitted parts assemble and disassemble quickly, the flick of a fingertip controls the on/off and pulse switches, and a two-piece food pusher makes it easy to process herbs and other small items. It's flexible: a 9-cup chef's bowl nearly doubles the processor's capacity while permitting a second ingredient to be processed without cleaning the main bowl, and a 3-cup minibowl with its own blade fits inside the big bowl for smaller jobs. Operating the processor is a thrill--like driving a luxury car. It weighs 10-1/2 pounds and measures 14-1/2 inches high, 8-3/4 inches wide, and 10-1/2 inches deep. There are no seams to trap food, making cleanup a simple matter of wiping the base and placing all parts in the dishwasher. Included with this model is a citrus press for quickly extracting juice; a whip for egg whites and cream; a dough blade; a thin (2 millimeters), reversible disc for slicing and shredding; and medium (4 millimeters) shredding and slicing discs. All store in a transparent plastic case (10-1/2 by 7-1/2 by 7 inches). The instruction booklet is exceptionally easy to follow and includes dozens of recipes. Should the processor fail during its first year, KitchenAid's total replacement warranty guarantees delivery of another machine. Other than that unlikely eventuality, no cook would part with this processor. --Fred Brack | | | | Accessories for KitchenAid KFP670 Professional Food Processor, White Check the box to include an item with your order.

| | Average Customer Review: Based on 46 reviews. | | Great Food Processor for the money After looking at all the food processors I felt that while this model cost more than the others, it's more cost effective because of all the accessories that are included. The juicer works great and can take a grapefruit down in a couple of seconds. It has an egg whipper which is great for whipping egg whites into a fluffy consistancy. It includes a container for storing the blades. My wife absolutely loves this piece of kitchen equipment and she has it sitting proudly next to her Kitchen Aid blender and Kitchen Aid coffee maker. I can't recommend this product highly enough you won't be sorry you spent the little extra money for it. | | enjoying the simplicity I am enjoying my food processor. I have had it for about 6 weeks and am very happy with it's performance. I especially like the little bowl than allows you to chop an onion or some garlic without feeling guilty using a big machine to do a small job. I also enjoy the egg whip. I've made several batches of whipped cream to dollop over different deserts. Delicious and simple. Also the company stands up to it's name. I've called and they help me with questions at the drop of a hat. I haven't made bread in it yet. I usually use my stand mixer for that. I do wish it also could be used as a mixer when trying to mix ice and fruit juice and different liquid items I encountered quite a mess. Kitchen aid would be ahead of the game if they could seal in the liquid. Other than than. Watch your fingers...The blade is sharp!! | | Blown Away!! This is my first food processor purchase and it has exceeded all my expectations. As a foodie, but a novice to the food processor, I found this one more than capable of handling my recipes, yet easy enough for me to use. Cleanup is great because there are no crevices on the touch pad and all the accessories go in the dishwasher. I bought this model because of the egg whip, citrus juicer, minibowl and work bowl. All have been easy to use and the three-bowl system saves so much time. The citrus juicer is excellent -- quick and efficient, although it does allow just a little pulp to come through. Be sure to place the fruit evenly on the cone. The cleanup is certainly easier than cleaning my juicer, so I'll toss the juicer when I get the juice extractor attachment. I've used the egg whip twice. The results weren't as good as my KitchenAid stand mixer's(needed to scrape the bowl more). Since I didn't have to dirty two appliances, I didn't mind the scraping. I am completely in love with this thing and recommend it to anyone in the market for a high-quality food processor. |
